ARCHAELOGICAL MUSEUM OF VITORIA (2007)

The project, beyond the specific museum program solving requrements, presents the challenge of integrating a heritage building, the Renaissance Palace of Bendaña, located in one corner of the intervention area.

The proposal proposes: 1) The urban fabric recomposition by reaffirming the block borders; 2) The exterior formal integration with the Palace, by means of solid and opaque volumes, in tune with the preexisting construcions; 3) The formal / functional interior integration through a central patio that articulates and revalues the existing property to be preserved.
